WHO WE ARE

A nonprofit built on compassion, connection, and the belief that grief deserves to be honored.

Grief is not something to fix. It is something to honor.
Animal Talks exists to support people through love, loss, and connection, especially when those experiences feel overwhelming, misunderstood, or invisible. Whether you are grieving the loss of an animal companion, navigating anticipatory grief, or seeking deeper understanding of the human–animal bond, you are welcome here.
For many people, relationships with animals are among the most meaningful of their lives. Yet grief connected to these bonds is often minimized or misunderstood. Animal Talks was created to change that.
"Kaleel has very special listening skills … so few people have that … which means he knows just the right questions to ask … and those questions can lead to wonderful, exciting discoveries."
